When can you withdraw the EPF?
1. Individual retires from employment
2. The individual has been unemployed for a time period of 2
months or greater than 2 months (75% of the EPF balance can be
withdrawn after one month of unemployment and the remaining
25% can be withdrawn after two months of unemployment)
Documents Required for PF withdrawal
1. Composite Claim Form
2. Two revenue stamps
3. Bank account statement (The bank account should be only in the
name of the PF holder while he/she is alive)
4. Identity proof
5. Address proof
6. One blank and cancelled cheque with clearly visible IFSC code
and account number
7. Personal information such as father’s name, date of birth, etc.
should clearly match with the identity proof
